Engineering 101: Ethics Website

Course: Engineering 101: Ethics Website
Faculty: Craig Beal and Jim Orbison
DP&S Liaison: Luyang Ren and Diane Jackaki
Date: Fall 2016

Prior to the fall semester 2016, Mechanical Engineering Professor Craig Beal and Civil & Environmental Engineering Professor Jim Orbison started developing an ethics simulation assignment for Engineering 101 students. In the simulation, students move through a workplace scenario making ethical decisions about project development. Professors Beal and Orbison designed the scenarios and consequence pages in HTML and CSS. Luyang Ren from DP&S used .NET web development technology and the myBucknell 3.0 framework and APIs to build the mechanism of this website and modify the final layout of the interface.
