Project: Digital or Analog? Tools for Visualization of Surfaces in Multivariable Calculus
Faculty Member: Nathan Ryan
DP&S Liaison: Todd Suomela
Date: Summer 2017
Ryan is undertaking a comparison between digital visualization tools and 3D printed models to determine which is more effective in learning environments. During the summer student Angel Bautista worked as part of a team of students; his focus was on the digital side, writing new applets in Python and embedding them in an openly available website.
